I am an experienced choral conductor of both adult and childrens' choirs.   Both Blue Haze Choir, comprising of staff, parents and friends of Ely, St Mary's CE Junior School and the school choir itself, performed in a production of Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat, which I co-produced and conducted at the Maltings a few years ago.   One of my Chamber Choirs reached the finals of the national competition: Barnado’s Choir of the Year at the Barbican Centre in London and were also the winners of the Junior Choirs category in the Peterborough Music Festival.  My choirs have been asked on numerous occasions to perform at the final of the Soham Young Musician of the Year competition and at various community events locally, such as the Bishop's Garden Party and the final showcase concert of the Ely Arts Festival. They also performed for the former Prince Charles on his visit to Ely.

As an experienced teacher with a passion for music, I have realistic expectations of my students, alongside encouraging them to strive for excellence.  I enable pupils to achieve their goals and foster a love of learning.   Piano lessons are available at Ely St Mary's on Thursdays during term time 9:00-15:20.  For pupils at the school, sessions are charged at £14.00 per 20 minute session, in blocks of five or ten.  Payment is upon invoice.   Lessons can be booked by contacting me direct, via email.
